Welcome Back, students, teachers, alumni and residents to a new term at Columtreal University!
How was your summer? Ours was filled with glitz and glam as your seven time NCA National Championship cheer squad, the CU Looter Cheerio’s were invited to attend an Elite cheer camp in Malibu California, where they practiced, competed and came in second place at the final event known at the Spirit Competition.
The scene was gorgeous, tucked in the hills of Malibu on a private beach in an old converted Country Club the team slept, ate and practiced in style with many other talented squads in attendance.

Squads in attendance included the Kit Cat Cheer squad who were our gracious host. The Plazma Dance Squad, Penguin’s, Diamond Flare and the PSCA.

Most were Cheer squads, some elite dance teams from around the world. All hand picked and invited to attend by the Captain and host of the Kit Cats, non other than the dazzling Miss Honey Heart.

Miss Heart hosted workshops, dance practices, demonstrations and showed us the latest in cheer and dance fashions. Stunning displays, stages, state of the art sound system advances and the latest in safety regulations for the league.
So as you may have heard we were NCA Champions in 2019 as well as 2024, we were on our way back to Nationals as defending champions when a series of unfortunate events led to my plane crashing in the Backwoods of Laveau. It was later determined through a thorough and lengthy investigation that the plane and crew were sabotaged by a fellow squad out of Shreveport. Being stranded in the woods with no food, water or Tik Tok for 5 days was even worse than missing Nationals.
Our Squad
The coordinator of the Cheer camp reached out to Looter Cheerio Captain, Shilo Casen inviting the Squad to attend and train for the entire month of August. The captain, myself, pitched it to the Squad and they were more than happy to jump at the opportunity to shake their poms and compete. Joining me on the trip were veteran Cheerios Chanel, Isabis, Ulric and our newest addition Miss Tia Fae.

The camp was fun, building our stage for the Spirit competition was a great team enrichment exercise as it was my idea to recreate the Looter Gymnasium. It took awhile but we pulled it off and with Miss Hearts training and expertise we choreographed a brand new fresh and innovative routine that we plan to practice all season and debut at Nationals come this spring as we plan to not only make a come back but take home another NCA National Cheer Champion title! As this is Co Captain Buffy’s final year on the squad, the legacy Cheerio, we want to make this the year to remember. A final season for the legacy of Buffy-Ella, the legendary Cheerio herself, to be proud of.

Even though we came in second place to the, Humboldt University Cheer Squad (played by Plazma) from Berlin, we are taking the national title this year! I mean seriously that squad was legit. Check out the videos on my socials!

((Please note that the other squads that attended Cheerfest 2025 are not actually RP based squads like we are. They just agreed to play along so we could have a way to participate icly. For more information about any of the other Squads/Dance teams reach out to me Shiloh Darkrose. Special thanks to Honey Heart and the Kit Cats for hosting Cheerfest, The Plazma Dance Show, for beating us icly in the Spirit Competition. Josh Dark, for Djing our performance. Syrena Kovalchuk for filming. Thank you to Buffy, Chanel, Ariel, Shasta, Tia, Jess and a special guest appearance by the OG CheerGirl Allen herself.))
