Ellis Millet was attacked late the night of August 3rd in Mayor Matfield’s office.
Details of how Millet came to be attacked in the Mayor’s office are unknown. Blood covered the victim, the floors and parts of the Mayor’s desk after the attack. The assailant managed to escape and is unknown at this time.
Millet was taken to the local hospital by the EMT. The Mayor is reported as saying the attack was “unfortunate”.
