After posting video of a drunken Hathian Police Department officer online over a month ago, the anonymous owner of the YouTube account ‘EffYouHPD’ has recently posted two new videos showing two separate instances of violence by HPD officers, one video featuring the focus of the account’s previously released video, Officer Werner Ludwig, and the other video featuring Hathian City Council candidate Zipporah Caverly.
One posted video shows Officer Ludwig strike Ellis Millet, owner of Bottoms Up, twice with a baton and knocking Millet to the ground unconscious. This incident took place during the street party hosted by mayoral candidate Rachell Vond-Washborne outside Gein Burger on March 14.
After knocking the man unconscious, Ludwig and an unidentified female officer with red hair left Millet bleeding on the ground and both officers walked away from the area. In the video, it appears as if Millet’s nose was broken during the assault, but that information has not been confirmed.
The other posted video shows HPD officer Zipporah Caverly, currently a candidate for Hathian City Council, and HPD officer Hunter Caverly, husband of Zipporah Caverly, involved in an attack on a woman, identified as Duanna Ansar in the comments on the YouTube video.
The video, filmed outside the Poison Apple tattoo and piercing shop, shows Hunter Caverly on top of Ansar, punching her repeatedly until she was unconscious. At one point in the video, it appeared that Ansar attempted to defend herself from the onslaught, only to be overpowered by the male officer on top of her.
Throughout the attack, Zipporah Caverly looked around the area, the video clearly showing her wearing a pair of brass knuckles, appearing as if she was on guard for anyone wishing to stop the assault. With police issue batons assigned to police officers, the reason why Mrs. Caverly chose to be wielding a non-standard issue weapon on duty is unknown.
With recent events surrounding the Hathian Police Department, including a public execution of Kayle Vond by HPD Captain Jeremiah Xuanzang, an act that incited a riot and resulted in the shooting death of 20 year-old Siddalee Matfield, more videos appearing online concerning Hathian’s Finest in an negative aspect casts a shadow over the department as a whole, even with the recent efforts the HPD has made by releasing information to the press on their internal resolving of troubling issues within the department.
With the elections taking place in less than a week, the one video released concerning Zipporah Caverly may also negatively affect the public’s opinion on her bid for a seat on the Hathian City Council.
