A new pharmacy has opened in the Vodou North Strip shopping center under the management of local Hathianite Ika Meiyo.
“Just head up Main Street into Vodou past Seaside Elementary and head north. You can’t miss it,” said Meiyo who also said the pharmacy will be hiring. “We’ll need a couple of pharmacists, techs and cashiers,” the manager said. “Bfirst and foremost we just want people to know where to come to get their prescriptions filled.”
In addition to prescription drugs the pharmacy is also selling some small assorted goods like tampons, diapers, potato chips, cereal and candy. There’s an ATM kiosk on site and vending machines for frozen treats and soda pop.
When asked about her affiliation with the Reject gang who run the vast majority of drugs in Hathian, Meiyo claimed innocence. “Affiliation?” She asked, “I don’t know what you mean.”
