It was approximately four o’ clock in the afternoon on a relatively peaceful Tuesday when an anonymous tipster called the Hathian Police Department to report a grisly discovery at the Hathian Motors Scrapyard. Responding officers arrived at the scene discovered the body of an unidentified white male who had been dead for only a “matter of hours”, according to Detective N.P. Cee who was called in after the initial discovery of the corpse. The cause of death according to the on-call medical examiner was “acute blood less complicated by severe dehydration and blunt force trauma to the skull”. According to Detective Cee, the victim appeared to have been held and tortured for a, “number of days”, before succumbing to his injuries.
According to the medical examiner’s report; the body was run through by thin steel cabling at the neck, elbows, wrists, knees and ankles affixed to a large wooden cross like a ‘giant puppet’. The victim also had numerous bone fractures and lacerations. For Detective Cee, the macabre scene was all too familiar. “Other parishes around Hathian have seen this before,” he reported. The discovery is allegedly identical to a string of other murders throughout the bayou all attributed to a female serial killer known only as ‘The Puppeteer’.
“The Puppeteer takes staged photos with her victims,” reported Detective Cee. “Her face is never clearly seen. After the murder, she delivers the photo to the police as well as the local media. While it’s not conclusive, initial evidence suggests this murder is the work of the serial killer known as The Puppeteer. If that’s indeed the case then it can be deduced that she is in Hathian and future victims will follow. I would advise the citizens of Hathian to be hyper alert to their surroundings and report any suspicious activity to the HPD.”
The Puppeteer is described to be anywhere between 17 and 23 years old, between 5’1″ and 5’4″ tall, quite thin of unknown race with long unkempt black hair and numerous scars. Her weapons of choice are long, talon-like claws as often seen in her staged photos coupled with ritualistic physical, mental and sexual torture and mutilation. Her victims are usually Caucasian males of any age but she has been known to target victims of every gender and ethnicity. Anyone with any information on the murder or the whereabouts or identity of The Puppeteer is urged to contact the Hathian Police Department immediately. Detective Cee was quoted as saying, “she is extremely dangerous and should under no circumstances should anyone try to apprehend her. Leave that to the police. If you believe you are in danger, call 911 immediately and try to get somewhere safe.”
