Last Wednesday was the scene of another heartracing attack at the Louisiana State Penitentiary after a gang fight broke out between numerous inmates, leaving one dead.
Kenny Sinclair, who was in prison for the string of Vodou arsons, and who recently escaped the prison during a riot, only to be captured again, was attacked and killed during the gang brawl.
Officials say a gang he joined in jail started a fight with a prison branch of the Gangster Disciples, a notorious nation wide street gang with many active members behind bars. One black male pulled a shank, a handmade weapon, and stabbed Sinclair three times before the brawl finally stopped.
He was dead on the scene, and the black male was given extra time on his sentence for the murder. None of Sinclair’s family could be reached for comments.
