(HATHIAN) A local woman is claiming that HPD officers fabricated evidence in order to bring her in for attempted murder. Sarah Shinobu, daughter of the late retail imports mogul Hitoshi Shinobu, was arrested late Monday night after she placed a call for medical assistance for a 26 year old male found severely injured in the skate park on Berthier Street. Police responded quickly and upon discovery of her gang affiliation, she was detained and was found to be in possession of a box razor cutter covered in blood. Shinobu declined comment citing pending lawsuit against the Police department for fabrication of said evidence. Shinobu is said to be a mother of one son, three years old, openly admits to being a member of the gang known as Cerberus, though up until this event had maintained a clean criminal record. In the state of Louisiana, if a gang is known to be a “criminal street gang” as defined in State code RS 15:1404, Members are subject to up to two years of imprisonment and/or up to five thousand dollars in fines minimum, pending criminal offense charges.
