The recently published story, “Sicko Presley in Graveyard Shocker” dated 22nd December, 2008 by Observer Journalist Aria Biggley is believed to carry within it several inaccuracies.

The Observer would like to apologize for these and publish an official note from Ms. Biggley herself. The Observer published this article in good faith and is sorry for any offence or embarrassment it may have caused.

“I have had it brought to my attention that Gein Burger staff is not responsible for the desecration of Captain Mahoney’s grave. In particular, as stated in my article, Charlie Presley was not involved. I was suffering from a head-cold at the time, and misheard the conversation between Mr. Presley and ‘Cez’.”

“The man believed to be responsible for the graveyard perversity is none other than the the man described in the same article, ‘Pia’ , a criminal mastermind within the city. It is unclear as yet as to why he committed the offence although it is possible that he was after the chain of honor awarded to Captain Mahoney which is thought to be buried with him.”

“I offer my apologies for this mistake and am deeply sorry for any problems it has caused Mr. Presley and the Gein Burger management. As a gesture of good-will, I will be donating the fee paid for the offensive article to Amnesty International and the Vegetarian Society.”
