Cold Snap Hits Hathian

1 min read

Hathian-Forecasters say that the cold weather that we’re experiencing is not going anywhere anytime soon. Wtih highs in the 40s and lows in the 30s and 20s, Hathian struggles to adjust. Many people are being chilled right to the bone with winds whipping through the city with gusts up to 15 miles per hour.

Several reports of homeless deaths, due to freezing, are coming in. “We are doing our best to get everyone inside, our shelters are just not big enough” a local civic employee says.

Fire barrels have pop up on every street corner, used even by the local citizens. “I don’t understand why it’s so fucking cold, I mean fuck we are in the arm pit of the south,” said one local street worker as she huddles close to one of the fires.

It seems with the cold that domestic disturbances increase as well. The streets have been riddled with gun shots, beatings and arson, it seems that even though people are huddled together to keep warm, they also want to take a few lives while at it.

Forecasters say that this weather has settled in for the season, so go buy or steal that coat from the mall of your choice. Just keep warm!
