A police officer was killed during a shootout between two gangs.
On the afternoon of Saturday, October 17th officers Portella , Gome, and Smith of the Hathian Police Department were called on the scene of a violent altercation between the Kogarashi and Los Oscuros at the Hangmans Pass. Members of both gangs were injured and Officer Kenver Smith was killed by a bullet in head.
According to Officer Portella, police tried to subdue Los Oscuros on the bridge as the Kogarashi fled. Officer Smith was shot during the escape. Remaining gang members ran from the scene as police attempted to save their downed man.
Asmus Zero, leader of Los Oscuros commented, ” This town is a war zone, plain and simple,” regarding the bridge shootout.
He also states police are responsible for the death of officer Smith due to their involvement in gang affairs.
