On August 14th, Rader Records hosted a mid-summer party in the parking lot in front of their store.
A large blue pad was set out on the ground with a kiddie pool and a very long slip n’ slide down the street. Many people came out to enjoy DJ Vicus, who was spinning some great summer tunes and getting people up and dancing. Pizza and Ice Cream was sold as well to keep folks well-fed throughout the evening. No alcohol was permitted as the event was intended as a fun, care-free playtime for the children of Hathian.
The night was full of fun, music and water fights. Balloons were thrown, slides were slid down, and pizza was had by all.
A few Hathian police officers arrived to perform routine checks. While most people were willing to comply, others responded with minor altercations.
