On the morning of Tuesday, August 7th around 8:30 in the morning, shots were fired by a woman named Dachine Daviau. The victim, Brad Gibson, was fatally shot in his stomach on scene, right in front of the Daily Grind coffee shop.
Daviau was very distressed once police officers had arrived to the scene. She reportedly held the gun to the victim’s head until then, a police officer tackled her making her fall away from further injuring the man.
The gunman Dachine Daviau’s mental state was apparent as she sobbed and screamed about her children. Brad Gibson was reportedly the murderer of her two young children.
Gibson soon after had died on scene from blood loss.
