On March 1st, career criminal Carly Martini, known for her affiliation as Boss of the former “KrackDen” Bloods gang in Hathian, her trademark large hammer, and briefly as a radio personality on the local WKRK Radio with superstar Trixie “DJ Puddles”, had been arrested for the murder of Officer Artemis Dionysus of the Hathian Police Department.

Officer Dionysus, 35, had been found dead in Vodou back in February, discovered in Reject territory after she’d been brutally murdered and severed into pieces post mortum. While it isn’t surprising that authorities turned to the Rejects gang as the obvious, merciless culprit, it is with great astonishment <sarcasm> that I, this reporter, announce to you, dear Observer, that the Rejects had been cleared of any wrong-doing in the murder of Officer Dionysus.

Forensic evidence had tied Martini to the murder back in March of 2016 after a bullet lodged in Dionysus’ skull matched one of the many firearms linked to the gangster, a firearm that had been used in several other crimes committed by her in the past. The Hathian Police Department reveals that Martini is no stranger to them, and describe the woman as “pugnacious, impulsive and hot tempered” and “unable to be reasoned with”.

The time that the murder had been committed is unclear, although it is suspected that Officer Dionysus might have been murdered shortly after she had been reported as a missing person back in November of 2015.

Shortly after her arrest, Martini had been released on bail. An officer, who requests to remain anonymous, states that Martini had been bailed by Mayor Nick Matfield himself. This reporter attempted to reach out to Mayor Matfield, but his secretary claims that he is “unavailable”. So far, no comment at this time.

More evidence surfaced a month later when a bloodied knife was turned in at the station. The knife allegedly belonged to Officer Dionysus, and the lab results found that the blood on the knife belongs to Martini, which would further condemn her for the murder.

According to sources, there just isn’t enough evidence to convict Martini for the murder. While the bloodied knife and the firearm confirm that she had either been present or played a certain role in this homicide, there is no way to prove that Martini is the one who killed Officer Dionysus.

As of June 2016, the case seems to have gone cold.

Whether or not the Hathian Police Department are still working vigorously to bring this murderer to justice, Martini will continue to walk our streets freely as yet another monster who is likely to kill again.
