In a horrific Halloween tragedy, the body of Hathian Police Department Lieutenant Lucy Morrisey was found in a privately run haunted house attraction earlier yesterday evening.

Details of the murder are unknown at this point, but the HPD has released the following statement:

It is with deepest regret that we announce the death in-service of Lieutenant Lucy Morrisey. The Lieutenant was a shining light of our family and her legacy will live on in the many ways she touched the HPD with her stalwart skills of firm leadership and organization. She will be deeply missed.

The Lieutenant is survived by her wife Roslyn Morrisey. Her death at the hands of criminals is yet another reminder of the dangers faced daily by our brave Officers. Those wishing to leave flowers or make donations are asked to send them to the ‘Hathian Alcohol and Narcotics Dependancy Clinic’, a charity close to the Lieutenant’s heart.

Anyone with information regarding this homicide is urged to contact Det. Lt. Moonshadow or Sgt. Reynolds of the MCU. Citizens can be assured that Lieutenant Morrisey’s death will not go unpunished. There will be no hiding place or shelter for those responsible. We will hunt you down, root you out, and justice will be swift and merciless.
