Red Queens Up In Flames

Last weekend, an explosive fire that consumed three houses on the hill in Rougarou lit up the area, sending toxic, black smoke hundreds of feet into the sky.

The homestead was known as the headquarters of The Red Queens, none of which were found inside when the fire department showed up to the scene after being tipped off by a neighbor who spotted the houses as they were going ablaze. Luckily, firefighters were able to stop the fire before it traveled to neighboring houses, but they weren’t able to save any of the property on the top of the hill which has now been reduced to rubble.

Explosions were also heard from the area, which are now believed to have come from what was thought to be a meth lab hidden in the basement. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, though it’s believed to be arson.

On the street in front of the property, there was found a spray painted message across the pavement reading “Red Queens are Dead,” which raises speculation as to whether this means that this marks the end of the ruthless gang, which may be good news for the bayou and Hathian alike.
