Dear Editor and youth reporter,
I am appalled at the article I saw in the newspaper yesterday. Not just by the ridiculousness of the topic, but also by who the reporter is. A youth reporter wrote that? Who is probably around 15 years old? The editor should be ashamed of herself for letting a teenage boy write such an article. He shouldn’t be worrying about other adults’ sex life. He shouldn’t even be worrying about sex. And while we’re on the subject, I found the column completely and utterly insulting. Not only is it insinuating that women aren’t good enough for their husbands, but it sounds like it’s trying to justify cheating. To the mistress you are nothing but a home wrecker. You thinks you’re helping peoples’ marriage, but you are doing nothing but destroying it. I hope you feel good about yourself, knowing that you’re nothing but a back up. You’re his second choice. You’re his nothing. And to the man who owns the mistress, you don’t love your wife. If you did love her, you would accept her for who she is, flaws and all, and you wouldn’t be cheating on her. Maybe she wouldn’t be nagging you if you weren’t sleeping around with some harlot.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8
I demand a public apology from the editor herself. As for the youth reporter, Michiaki Yamaguchi, you should be ashamed of yourself as well. Please do Hathian a favor and stick to video games, not topics that are clearly above your age.
