Former manager of the Got Head shop, Charlice Deer, who is suspected to be dealing narcotics while working there, was arrested Monday night after being caught with more than ten grams of cocaine.
She has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, which can have up to a five year sentence in regards to cocaine, but she was sentenced to one year hard time due to this being her first drug offense. No trafficking charges were laid, as there was not enough evidence to add additional charges.
Deer will be transported to Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women on March 1st where she will wait out the rest of her sentence after being credited with time already served.
